The other week, I was restless and couldn’t sleep.  So naturally what I do when I can’t sleep at night is turn on a horror movie.  It calms me.  It soothes me.  It makes me urinate uncontrollably at times.  As gross as that last thing sounds, I was confident that night that I would be able to control my bladder when I stumbled upon the 2014 movie, Deliver Us From Evil.

This was yet another in a long line or supernatural/possession movies, but this one was based on actual events!  It was inspired by real accounts from a NYPD officer who……blah, blah, blah, blah.  Who gives a shit, right?  All of these movies are ‘based on actual events‘.  The saving grace of Deliver Us From Evil was the ending exorcism scene.  And what makes a good exorcism scene?  Why, Jim Morrison of course!  Yes, one of The Doors most popular songs “Break On Through (To The Other Side)” is used prominently here as a carved up man is trying to rid the demon that takes over him.  Feel free to rock out with your demonic cock out below:
