Ebay Find Of The Week: Rare ‘Return Of The Living Dead’ Standee

I know that I recently posted about a promotional standee for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 that was for sale on Ebay, and there is no argument that it was pretty awesome.  But today I found quite possibly THE promotional standee of ALL promotional standees on Ebay that will put that one to shame. Behold!  The Return Of The Living Dead promotional standee!!!!

This sucker is very rare, people.  So rare in fact that it comes with a very hefty $900 price tag (with a ‘make an offer’ option however).  This movie is an all-time favorite of mine and I’ve always loved the artwork and the tagline “They’re back from the grave and ready to party!” too.  So, imagine adding this piece of zombie flick memorabilia to your horror collection and impressing your friends in the process.  Not many horror items on Ebay warrant a $900 price, but I have to admit that this standee might be worth it.  If you’re feeling frisky and want to drop the cash, go over to the Ebay link HERE and grab it or make an offer now!

Ebay Find Of The Week: ‘The Return Of The Living Dead’ Promo T-Shirt (1985)

Good news for all of my readers who are on the smaller side that love The Return Of The Living Dead!  There are not one, but two actual promo T-shirts from the 1985 horror/comedy up on Ebay right now:

Even though that these shirts are ‘Size Small’ and I have no chance in hell of fitting into one, it’s refreshing to see a shirt up on Ebay from the 80’s that doesn’t have armpit stains.  They have never been worn, and I’m really digging the “More Brains!” script on the front.  I’ll try not to sulk too much about the size, but you might be sulking about the price when you see it over at Ebay right HERE.  Kind of a random ‘Buy It Now’ price of $134.85, but at least you can make an offer and hopefully get one cheaper if you want it that bad. Braaaaaaains!

Great Moments In Horror Hair History: Linnea Quigley In ‘The Return Of The Living Dead’ (1985)

Ronald McDonald had the ‘red hair game’ on lock for years.  He owned it, and was reluctant to ever give up his crimson crown and dared anyone to try and challenge him for it.  But in 1985, Linnea Quigley and her breasts burst onto the scene in the B-movie horror classic, The Return Of The Living Dead. And in a rare moment, her red hair in the movie upstaged those breasts and snatched that aforementioned crimson crown from the creepy-ass McDonald’s mascot.

Ms. Quigley gave us three fantastic things in The Return Of The Living Dead: her character’s name (Trash), her nude graveyard dance, and her punk-influenced red mop on top.  And it’s that red mop on top that is truly a ‘Great Moment In Horror Hair History‘ and is more than deserving to be in the illustrious company of Shelly’s Jewfro from Friday The 13th Part 3 and Rider Strong’s armpits from Cabin Fever.  Also deserving, is the way that Trash knew how to really sit and conduct herself like a lady.  Spread eagle is always an underrated classic and should be commended.  Congrats, Linnea!
