Few scenes make me shed a tear in a good way like the almost 10 minute long Lake Victoria bloodbath opus from 2010’s Piranha 3D.  It’s mind-blowing.  It’s glorious.  It’s got a girl getting her face ripped off after getting her hair tangled in a boat propeller.  If you’ve seen it, then you know why it I’m so giddy and why I have to spotlight it on this week’s Sunday Bloody Sunday.

It’s just….so….beautiful.  Sorry, I told myself I wouldn’t cry.  Take it in horror fans, because it might be a while before you see anything like that again.  For me, everything was perfect about this movie and what it tried to accomplish, but that scene right there took it to a whole other level.  So many great moments just in those 8 minutes alone, but I have to give the edge to propeller head girl for my favorite.  The Eli Roth head smash comes in a close second.  Thank you Piranha 3D.
