As if you need another reason to see a hobbit take a super dark acting turn in the upcoming Maniac remake, here’s another.  The red band (which means very NSFW) international trailer for Franck Khalfoun’s Maniac is up and it’s extremely unsettling. Shot through the POV of our killer Frank (Elijah Wood) as he stalks and scalps unknowing women, you can’t help but watch the trailer and find it all beautiful in a sick and twisted way.  Buzz is strong on this one and the reviews have all been positive, so check out Maniac when it opens sometime in 2013 and see what the buzz is all about.
