The Bloody Tampon Scene: It Stains The Sands Red (2017)

If you ready the title of this post and were confused….intrigued….grossed-out….or all of the above – then you’ve come to the right place!  Because if you haven’t seen the 2017 spin on the zombie genre called It Stains The Sands Red, then you missed pretty much the best ‘bloody tampon’ scene ever in a zombie movie.  And probably the only one.

All joking aside, It Stains The Sands Red is a fresh little take on the over-saturated walking dead genre.  A lot of practical effects are are on-hand, making it gory good romp with one scene specifically sticking out to me.  When you’re trying to fend off a zombie who has a quench for blood, how do you lure him away?  With your bloody tampon of course!  Yeah, just watch the clip below and enjoy.  And seek out It Stains The Sands Red if you get a chance too!

Monday Bloody Monday: ‘A Tasty Smoothie’ From ‘Captivity’ (2007)

Happy Memorial Day, everybody!  And what better to remember and celebrate, than the infamous ‘blender’ scene from that terrible movie Captivity.  A for certain Saw rip-off, I stumbled upon Captivity for the first time in a long time yesterday on Showtime or something.  Being that I just can’t resist Elisha Cuthbert because of her exceptionally luscious “acting” skills, I had to take a trip down memory lane and re-watch it.

So, welcome to Monday Bloody Monday – where I’m going to probably ruin your breakfast or lunch if you watch the clip below.  Ever wondered what a ‘body part’ smoothie would taste like?  Oh sure, maybe if you added a little lemon juice and strawberries it wouldn’t be so bad, but Elisha Cuthbert’s character in the movie wasn’t so lucky.  Nope.  Instead she gets delicious blended severed ears and whatnot, literally forced down her throat!  Enjoy below – and if you really want to experience torture, then watch the whole movie.

Monday Bloody Monday: The Ending From ‘The Neon Demon’ (2016)

Nothing gets me going more than some gorgeous gore in a horror movie.  And I guess that ‘gorgeous’ could definitely be a word used to describe Nicolas Winding Refn’s odd little movie The Neon Demon.  The women are gorgeous.  The style of the film is gorgeous.  And the scene where a model vomits up an eyeball is…..you guessed it – gorgeous!

Welcome to Monday Bloody Monday, where I must warn you that the following clip has spoilers galore if you haven’t seen The Neon Demon.  Not that it would really matter much, since even if you have seen the movie you probably don’t know what the hell is going on anyway.  I dug this movie more than I thought I would though.  Some will call it artsy crap.  Others will praise the ambition of it.  The clip below of the ending pretty much sums up The Neon Demon at it’s best, and might make you rethink ever wanting to eat an eyeball.
