What’s the one thing that always turns a lame holiday gift, into an amazing holiday gift. No, not alcohol.  Satin!  Yes, satin – the underrated fabric.  Well, if you’re looking for something incredibly satiny for that special person this year that loves 1990’s horror movies……then I’ve got just the thing for you.  Behold!  A promotional Sleepwalkers satin jacket!

Ah yes – who wouldn’t love a satin Sleepwalkers jacket?  A great movie, it is not – but a fun one at the end of the day.  I always love perusing around on eBay by the way, looking at all of the old promotional horror movie merchandise that’s up there.  Sometimes you can find some real gems.  Not sure if this satin goodness falls into that category, but it’s a fine jacket.  And it’s only $200!  Wait, wait – come back!  I’m sure the seller will negotiate on the price if you need them to.

Awww yeah!  It’s summertime and nothing says summertime like hittin’ the beach for some sand, sun, and tasty waves.  And who wouldn’t want to hit the beach with something that would make people stop and stare and say “Why the hell is that person wearing a promotional tank top from the original 1990 Flatliners movie?”

Why, yes.  That is indeed an original promotional tank top from the 1990 movie Flatliners. Notice I had to specify by saying the year because of that remake abortion that came out in 2017.  Anywho – I do love perusing eBay for old promotional horror items and when this one popped up in my search, I just had to share.  It even has a fun ‘beach’ color to it!  So if you’re interested in knowing more about purchasing, head on over to the listing HERE. Ebay Find Of The Week: Promotional Rat From ‘Willard’ (2003)

Well, there’s a first time for everything – and today’s first time is me writing about the killer rat movie Willard, a remake from 2003 of the 1971 original.  And if you ever wondered if there were any promotional rubber rats that were given out to help promote the remake, feast your eyes on this:

Boom!  No, that rubber rat is not playing dead – it’s just flipped over, thanks to the seller on eBay, to let you know that it’s legit.  Gotta love that the website associated with Willard was ‘www.tearhimup.com‘ btw.  Sadly it doesn’t exist anymore.  But yes, this gem of a find is up on eBay right now if you go HERE.  It’s a modest $31 right now, but you can make an offer if you wish.  And rubber rats are always fun to try and play tricks on people that you don’t like.  Sadly, Crispin Glover (the star of the movie) does not come with this promotional product.  But if you would like your Crispin Glover fix, then please watch the clip below and feel free to emulate his funky dance moves……..

Ebay Find Of The Week: ‘Basket Case 2’ Promotional Notepad (1990)

As I grow older, I tend to forget to do things.  It happens, so I try and shrug it off.  But one thing I am always doing to help avoid this, is jot my notes down on a notepad.  The problem is that my current notepads are old and boring.  They have no pizazz or flare to them.  If only I had a promotional notepad from a cheesy horror movie sequel…………

Good thing I’m in the market for a new overpriced 80’s horror movie keychain! Upon searching for keychains on Ebay for some reason, I stumbled upon something so rare…..so special…..so unnecessary…..that I just had to share the good news with you.  Brace yourselves as you gaze upon this promotional keychain from the 1987 horror/comedy, House II: The Second Story!

Oh it’s beautiful, and I’m actually having trouble finding the words to describe such a remarkable specimen.  And it’s even better if you like the color yellow! Now for those who don’t know, House II: The Second Story was a sequel to the entertaining first movie in 1986 called House.  Personally, I didn’t really like the sequel, but I’m sure there are fans out there who will clamor towards this keychain.  But (and it’s a big but), it’s going for $25 on Ebay right now.  There is the option to ‘Make An Offer’, so you have that going for you.  Head on over to the listing HERE and take a look.  I’ll stand back cautiously while the stampede settles down to claim this one……
