Have you ever seen Rob Zombie in concert? If you haven’t, don’t worry – he doesn’t reenact any of his Halloween screenplays on stage. And Sherri Moon Zombie doesn’t speak either. But if you’re a horror fan, especially a classic horror movie fan, you need to see him live. You will appreciate it and you will be in awe at the spectacle on stage that includes giant mobile robots and monsters, scantily clad dancing girls usually in cages, and the master of ceremonies himself: Rob Zombie. And the good news for you if you want to see him again or see him for the first time, is that he’s headlining this year’s Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival!
Joining Rob for the fun this year will be Mastodon, Machine Head, Five Finger Death Punch, Children Of Bodom, Amon Amarth, and more! Tickets begin to go on sale through Live Nation this Friday, March 22nd, and you can head over to the Mayhem website HERE and see if they’re coming to your neck of the woods. I went last year and the shit was crazy. Hard to top Slipknot as the headliner, but as far as stage shows go, Rob Zombie is more than capable to give them a run for their money. Oh yeah – and go check out Zombie’s new Kubrick/Argento inspired flick, The Lords Of Salem on April 19th too. Should we expect maybe a movie tie-in to his concert set on the tour? We shall see……
