Back in 2009, I was hit with a pleasant surprise called The Collector.  Not groundbreaking horror by any means, but Marcus Dunstan’s directorial debut about a heist gone terribly wrong thanks to a demented entomologist who likes to set booby traps, rubbed me the right way and I was actually moderately excited to see the sequel, The Collection.  Now the time has passed and I have seen it, and I’m here to tell you if it lived up to that moderate excitement I had going into it.   Continue reading →
